The El Paso Interreligious Sponsoring Organization and Border Interfaith hosted a virtual accountability session in October with candidates for El Paso mayor and City Council.

The church-based groups take a different approach than most other organizations that host discussions with candidates. EPISO and Border Interfaith have members lay out an agenda of top issues for the organizations, then ask candidates if they support the agenda.

The agenda focuses on economic development, assistance to under-served communities, immigration, education infrastructure, police accountability and health care.
