Now through Dec. 31, you can have your membership support for El Paso Matters matched dollar for dollar, thanks to support from national foundations and generous El Pasoans.

El Paso Matters is participating in the annual NewsMatch campaign, which benefits nonprofit news organizations across the country.

Donations of up to $1,000 are eligible for the match. So a $100 donation will be doubled to $200, and a $250 donation to $500.

You can become a member of El Paso Matters, or renew a previous membership, by clicking here. Any donation will make you a member of El Paso Matters.

You can make a one-time gift or a recurring monthly contribution. Recurring donations are matched at their full annual value, so a $21 monthly contribution will be matched at $252. (If you’re more comfortable donating by check, you can mail it to El Paso Matters, 500 W. Overland Suite 200, El Paso, TX 79901.)

And through November, for all donations of $250 or more, El Paso Matters will buy 350 meals for El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank. That allows you to get a matching contribution for your support of El Paso Matters, and help keep El Pasoans from going hungry during the holiday season.

Disclosure: El Paso Matters CEO Robert Moore is a member of the board of directors of El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.
