Women’s Commission Seeks Applicants: The El Paso County Commissioners Court is seeking two candidates to serve on the county’s new Women’s Commission, which will have its first board meeting in March 2023. Members of the advisory board must be at least 16 years old and a resident of El Paso, among other qualifications. To read more about the position and application process, visit epcounty.com/boards/. The application deadline is 5pm on Friday, Dec. 30.   

Nursing School Graduation: The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso’s Hunt School of Nursing will have its graduation ceremony at 10 a.m., on Saturday at the Plaza Theatre, 125 W. Mills. The Hunt School of Nursing will graduate 73 students from the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) program and nine from the Registered Nurse to B.S.N. program. The ceremony will be live streamed at facebook.com/ttuhscep.
