El Paso Matters welcomes commentary pieces about local, regional, state, national and global issues.

All commentaries must include the author’s first and last name, place of residence and a brief biography, including affiliations with political parties, lobbying or special interest groups.

We don’t have length guidelines, but we encourage  authors to aim for 600 to 800 words. Submissions may be edited for grammar, spelling and clarity.

We reserve the right to reject opinions for matters of taste and accuracy. Commentaries are voices from the community and do not represent El Paso Matters in any way.

Please send your commentary to Robert Moore, bmoore@elpasomatters.org
